Uncompromising Materials

Ascent is handmade in house using the finest British veg tan leather and is fitted with strong split rings and double riveted at each fold. I’m so confident in the quality that it comes with a 10 year warranty as standard. It has a simple timeless design that will look amazing on any camera and the vegetable tanned leather will age beautifully and will look stunning for years to come.

Responsibly Made

For each Ascent that is purchased, 1 tree will be planted to help the planet! Furthermore, the leather used is naturally cured using tree bark and has non-toxic dyes. Every Ascent is handmade to order to reduce overproduction and the waste that it creates.

Width - 1.2cm (0.5 inches).

Length - From 75 to 120cm (29 - 47 inches). Length is measured between the end of the split rings.

Thickness - 2 - 2.5mm thick leather.

Weight - 120cm long is 60g (2.1oz).

Strength - Max recommended weight is 2.25kg (5lbs) though it can hold 10kg easily.

Two sizes are available for Ascent: Short and Long.

Short - Adjustable from 75 to 95cm. Close-ish to your face and makes for a quick photo. Great for wearing round your neck or shoulder and sits around your breastbone / top of your abs.

Long - Adjustable from 100 to 120cm. Can be worn neck, shoulder or crossbody and the camera will sit on your waistline at the longest length or on your abs at the shortest.

Leather: Made in the UK by Metropolitan Leather. It is a vegetable-tanned leather made in a natural way and dyed using non-toxic dyes. It comes from the shoulder of a cow. See Vegetable Tanned Leather for more info.

Rivets & Buckle: Plated steel

Storage Bag: Natural undyed organic cotton

Packaging: Plastic free and fully recyclable.

Disposal: Vegetable tanned leather is fully compostable and the fixtures are recyclable.
